Watch or up and coming 21 yr old Toronto player named Phillip Sayce.
Caught him at the Rainbow this weekend. What a smokin' player. Had a
chance to chat with him backstage and he mentioned that he is off to
europe and opening for Jimmy Vaughan....NICE GIG!

I wish Jimmy would realize he really can't play aanywhere at the level
of his brother..Sorry to be nasty but it's early and I'm cranky but why
did Jimmy have to be louder than anyone else at the tribute concert. I
know it's his brother but....

Christ, no one plays at the level SRV played at,, they'd need a labotomy if the did... I didn't see much of the tribute, just peices, but I though the prize of the show was Bonnie Rate,,, she's one hell of a player, and save for Clapton, she wasted all of them... /r | |||||

Yeah, Bonnie is great. I just wish i would've talked to her when I
saw her siiting on the steps of her tour bus outside of her hotel in
Philly several years ago instead of just saying to my wife, gee, I
think that's Bonnie Raitt!!
