Has anyone out there tried the Korg Padora ? I was wondering how the effects might compare to the Zoom 9002 and/or the Rockman . JJT

Yes, I tried one. Through headphones only, and I just sampled the 20 presets (so I didn't get into the programming aspects). I was not that impressed; the sounds were very artificial to me and not very "musical". I recall liking one of the cheaper Zooms (9000 or 9001) much better when I tried it; I was close to buying one of those. Many other people have commented favorably on this box, so it could just be a matter of taste. /rick

If it's anything like the G3, don't buy it. -ss

If it's anything like the A4, consider it seriously. Marc

I had the A5 for a while and it sounded pretty good through the Hughes and Kettner combo in the store. When I got it home,it sounded not so good through my Marshall. ...both are now history! 8) ian |
