3187.0. "Looking 4 Authorized Tascom Repair person." by POWDML::TNELSON (On a Beer day you can Pee forever) Mon Mar 18 1996 11:18

Does anyone know of the place on Rt119 (between Pepperel and Acton?) I
believe, that repairs Tascom Tape Recorders? I brought my 4 track there
a few years ago and can't remember which town it's in.

Actually if you know of a good place around the Maynard area I'm open
to ideas. I'd prefer a Tascom authorized repairer.

    Thanks,

    Ted

If it's just ready now, that's not much of a recommendation.

I think you;re talking about "Robinson's". They repaired
by Teac 2340 once. Did okay job but pricey - job was hardly
any parts - labor rate is. They - at least used to be on
119 in Littleton just East of 495.

There's a guy who's probably better, more reasonable if you
want to drive to Sturbridge (at the end of the Mass Pike)
named Bill Ryan. He's real busy with Studio work (has/had
Red House Recording in Northboro which was moving to his
home in Sturbridge). He'd be worth looking up.

yes, thanks, that's the place. Now that you mention it, I remember now
that the last time I brought it there (around 4 yrs ago) I thought they
charged alot for what they did.

Sturbridge is a bit far for me.

Can't remember the town! must have been one of those too drunk to
    remember anything days, right Ted?

    Just kidding buddy.

Still playin' da blues? Have you heard Kenny Wayne Shepard yet? This
    kid, only 19, is un-believable.

    Drop a line,
