| Please don't capitalize all of you letters (it's considerd SHOUTING ! )

Does your guitar have any markings behind the headstock like
Made in Korea ? The guitar sounds like an import clone of a Fender
    Telecaster .

| Thanks for the reply Mike but i'm afraid my initial info was wrong (it
had been a long day). The guitar is actually a strat shape and does not
have 'made in korea ' on the back of the neck. The reason for my
interest in such a seemingly 'cheap and nasty ' axe is the fact that
after a little adjusting the guitar plays and sound like a dream .the
original colour was a kind of speckled green with reflective pieces of
silver material in it , disgusting i know , on removal of this very
thick layer of paint I found a laminated two tone body which I feel
should not of been covered in the first place . If anyone can offer a
little more in-depth info I could feel a little more at ease with my
    mysterious playing partner .
