| 3010.1 | Cheap Reverb? | POLAR::KFICZERE | Sat Dec 17 1994 14:13 | 9 | |
Has anybody checked out Radio Shacks pocket reverb and effects
unit? I'm not sure if they still make it but a couple of months back I
saw one at the local and I must say it did spark some curiosity.
I think I am pretty correct to assume it's junk but, for $40
(if I remember,it was sporting a chorus and some other effect) and
myself useing a '73 bassman with no reverb, I was a little interested

Spend a few more clams and get an old Alesis Microverb. You can get
'em for about $70 US these days and they sound good and hold up well.
I can't imagine actually using that RatShack junk on a guitar signal.

Thanks for the response guys.(and the mail).I seem to have struck a
nerve with that RatShack reference. I guess it was a little mis-worded.
When I was writing, although I did mention it was "junk" I guess I
didn't mention that I was just curious about it in a
sitting-at-home-with-my-practice-amp situation. Thanx again.
