Do you ever get sick of hearing the same licks being
played in different tunes as of late? Here's one that I
think is used too much in too many songs (not necessarily
in this particular key, or specific rhythm-although it's
frequently played in a triplet fixture):
---------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------12----12--etc--->
-----------------------------12----12-14-12-14----14-----------
-----------12----12-14-12-14----14-----------------------------
--14-12-14----14-----------------------------------------------
Anyone else have a lick or two you feel is overdone in
today's music? If so, please note it here.

Didn't one of the guitar rags have an article a year or two ago like
"25 licks that must die"
I figured with all that attention, they must be good licks, so I
learned 'em all.
