Do you ever get sick of hearing the same licks being played in different tunes as of late? Here's one that I think is used too much in too many songs (not necessarily in this particular key, or specific rhythm-although it's frequently played in a triplet fixture): --------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------------------12----12--etc---> -----------------------------12----12-14-12-14----14----------- -----------12----12-14-12-14----14----------------------------- --14-12-14----14----------------------------------------------- Anyone else have a lick or two you feel is overdone in today's music?
