Lenny's good cuz he's stuck in the sixties.
Yngwie Malmsteen would be good since he's a tyranical egomaniac.
How about Neil Young since he keeps bashing the same note over & over?
Leslie West would be good cuz he's due for downsizing.
Though my personal choice would be Danny Gatton... can you see the
connection?
So exactly what is this commercial about-- I haven't seen it yet.

hammer out a little diddy, and retire happy...
Hey, why not!!! Worked for Lucenti!

| Neil Young is a horrible choice. He's a "two bit" guitar player
and Alpha is 64 bits.
I like Steve Morse myself. One of the unique claims of Alpha is that
it can run a wide variety of Operating Systems. One of the unique
claims of Morse is that he's the most versatile guitar player.

| I also think Yngwie Malmsteen would be a good choice. Everyone knows he's
(one of) the best technical guitarists, but very few people actually like him
and buy his work.

As far as commercial success - many have suggested he is unknown in
relation to his talent. Read "The uncommon chord"...for some insight
into this opinion...whatever...

I vote for Pete Cosey breaking up the pavement on the cut "Prelude" from
Miles Davis' Pangea album.
or how bout Sonny Sharock playing 'My B??ls, Your Chin' from Last Exit.

Now, having seen and heard the new DEC commercials...
I finally understand where the Lenny Kravits<sp?> comment
came from.
IMO: The new commercials are thankfully, not of the ultra
lame type we've had in the past. I almost fell over when I
found that there was actually a MESSAGE that didn't need a
Captian Wizo Secret Decoder Ring. Cool. Good job and it's
about damn time.
