    I don't even have the master tape yet. 
    
    I'd like to avoid having people send me blank tapes for a variety
    of reasons:
    
    	1) You save the postage sending the tape to me
    	2) I can make the dupes in batches rather than on demand everytime
    	   I receive one
    	3) I'm picky about what I put in my cassette deck.  Someone once
    	   sent me an old tape that really dirtied up the heads. 
    	4) My dubbing deck works best when you use the same grade tape
    	   If the master is chrome and the tape you send is type I, it'll
    	   come out crappy and I think we owe it to the submittors to
    	   deliver dupes with as high quality as possible
    	5) For these reasons I can usually send a tape out to you the
    	   day I receive your request.
    	6) Doing it this way, I can buy tapes in bulk from my band's tape
    	   supplier and thus, typically can get the tape for less money
    	   then if you bought one on your own.
    
    So generally I'd prefer to supply the tape.
    
    If you pick it up from me directly, you pay only for the cost of the
    tape.  If I have to mail it to you, you also pay packaging and postage
    (about $1 for postage and 50 cents for the padded mailing envelopes
    typically).

    Looks like the tape cost is going to be $2.50 each.   I'm planning
    to use TDK SA-90's and Maxell UD-XL-IIs.  If anyone knows where I can
    get a better deal, speak up.   I'm also going to look into getting
    tapes from my bulk tape supplier.
    
    The mailing envelopes are about 75 cents and I think the postage is
    about 75 cents so here's the deal:
    
    		$2.50 for each tape you pick up from me
    
    		$4 if I have to US Mail it to you
    
    Sorry, no I/O mail - I want to keep my job and using I/O mail for
    this seems like a better reason to lay off someone than a lot of the
    ones I've heard given.
    
    I'll also try to have copies of the tapes in my office at Spit Brook
    Road in Nashua, NH,  and at db wilfred and Metropolis gigs.

    p.s. The master that Brian gave me is a metal tape.  I've heard that
    	 dubbing from Metal chrome isn't as good as going chrome-to-come
    	 although the tapes I've made thus far sound good to me.
    
    	 If someone wants this on metal, let me know.

    OK here are the official ordering instructions (terms and prices
    subject to change as reflected by costs).
    
    Three ways to order:
    
    Method 1 - You Pick Up the tape
    
    	Catch me in my office, or at one of my db wilfred or Metropolis
    	gigs, hand me $2.50 and I will hand you TDK SA-90 or Maxell
        UD-XLII.
    
    Method 2 - US Mail to US addresses
    
    	Send $4 to

    	If you send me e-mail saying that you're "check is in the mail"
    	I'll (try to) pop your tape in the mail right away and that way 
    	your tape won't be delayed until your check reaches me.
    
    Method 3 - Other methods
    
    	I can imagine situations where someone has a special request
    	such as:
    
    	   o I don't live in the US
    	   o I want it on a higher grade tape
    	   o I want it on a lower grade tape
    	   o Please include only the songs with emotional playing
    	     or please eliminate all versions of "the blues song" ;-)
    
    	For these type things contact me, we'll try to work something out.
    
    These terms and prices are subject to change.  In particular I am
    hoping to get tapes at a cheaper rate from my bulk supplier, but I
    didn't want to hold up the distribution until that happened.  Don't be
    mad at me if you order your tape and discover the next day that it
    is now a quarter cheaper.  ;-)

Just a note to submittors from your former co-worker and tape
compiler:

I have five tapes which have not been mailed out yet.  Don't panic, I
will get to the post office no later then Saturday and have them in
the mail.
