Anyone know anything about CORT guitars and specifically the PRO (PRS copy) model? Rich

Cort is the name of an importer who has been bringing inexpensive guitars from Korea into the US for a number of years. Their best known models were the Steinberger clones they sold in the late eighties. I've seen pix of the new Pro line and it looks like they are trying to work into the intermediate price range with them. Brian | |||||

I picked up a used PRO model at a very nice price. It's a PRS look-a-like with an amber stained maple archtop over a set neck mahogony neck and body. Two humbuckers (cheap/need replacing), three position slide switch, tone and volume control, and a coil splitter. The guitar was in flawless condition. All in all I'm very pleased. You can by a reasonable (never mind it's pedigree) guitar for under 300$. Rich |
