I did a DIR/TITLE looking for the addresses of companies that sell guitar parts and was able to come up with a list of addresses, but many of these addresses are outdated and the companies are apparently out of business. I recently sent off a request for a catalog from Warmoth, but they seem to be a bit on the expensive side for their parts. I've also contacted Hosono Guitar Parts in the past and found them to be pricey as well. Any suggestions? I'd love to build my own guitar, but I don't want to have to take a second mortgage to do so! Could you please post any suggestions/addresses you might have? Thanks! Mike I got my info from notes #411 and 751, but as you'll see these were written in '87-'88 so they're a little out of date......

Try Stewart-MacDonalds, they carry premade parts, ready for assembly. A guy I used to play with built a guitar from one of their necks and bodies and it turned out pretty nice. Greg | |||||

Ditto on Stewart Mcdonald. I built a Tele and used one of their maple necks. GREAT playing neck! The body is a Fender '54 reissue with a set of EMG/T active pick-ups. They are a good company to deal with and have been around awhile. I'm not sure of there address but I have a catalog at home if you need it. Rob |
