2858.0. "Feed back how to stop" by ICS::CATORIO () Fri Nov 19 1993 07:20

	I have a question about a problem that I am having when using
my acoustic bass guitar. This is a hollow body Kramer with a built in
pick up with volume, treble, and bass control's. When I hit an "A"
note and let this ring I get feed back. Does any one know how I can
get rid of this happening. In the pass I have stuff foam rubber at
the bridge and this will take care of this but looks strange. I have
tried playing on the side or in front of this but still I get feed
back.

	thanks in advance on this one

    I presume that this only happens when you've got the thing hooked up to
    an amp? If so, try some EQ to lower the response of that particular
    frequency a little, it's probably just real resonant.

    I once knew a guy that stuffed old tee shirts into
    his ES330 to reduce feedback.
