2815.0. "Dimarzio Fast Track Pickups ?" by HOPOFF::TAKOS () Mon Sep 27 1993 19:10
Couldn't find any info Dimarzio FT series of pickups, point me to the
appropriate note if this is prev covered...
Anyone check out the DiMarzio Fast Track Series of pickups FT1,2 &3
They're side by side humbucking single coils, they look like SM hot rails.
Curious on what you thought, especially in relation to the HS1,2&3 which
are vertically stacked single coils.
I thinking of dumping my garbage grade stock pickups in my early 80's Ibanez.
they really S*(&% .
any comments/suggestions would be appreciated. I already (long ago) added
a SM quarter pounder in the bridge pos and it sound pretty good...
I'm also thinking of changing the bridge with a thru the body (strat) style
bridge (non trem), my current bridge is surface mounted.
I heard that feeding the strings thru the body improves sustain, any comments ?
Thanks Much
