I have one at home that still has the manufacturers tags on it.
As limited as they are. I'll look tonight.
Rick.
PS: But it doesn't ring a bell.

| If I remember right, it is portable. I don't know how long it'd run on
standard batteries, but I bet a car cigarette lighter adaptor would
work great. I have a Fender Sidekick 10 that works like that (12v in).

Jeez, not too many Gorilla people, huh? Would still appreciate hearing
from someone as to what was originally intended for this 12V plug in.
Somehow the Cig lighter doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Is this just
in case I get the yearning to play whilst out for a Sunday drive? ;*)
Anyway, keep those cards and letters coming in.
Thanks,
Rich

I took mine with me on a camping trip...

I made a note to check it out last night.
Walked in, put in on the fridge and there it
is right now. Forgotten. Sorry. I'll tie
a string to my finger.
Or...
Why not call Gorilla? Ask'em direct.
Anyone know the number? Of course I could
look up the address when I check out the
amp tonight. Duh. Where'd my mind go?
Rick.

What the hell is this string doing on my finger?

Almost forgot again. Got to the front door this morning and looked
around thinking I was forgetting something. Yup, the Gorilla.
Checked it out. The 12v didn't sound familure to me 'cause I
don't have one. Mine is the 50w version w/8" speaker. (...and I
hate it. But anyway.)
Step two; Look at the dumb ass little tags still hanging on it.
Nada - nothing - useless - SOL - not even an address or a phone
number on it.
Sorry it took me so long to say I cannot help.
Rick.

| After 7 rambling replies, I'll say I never saw a battery pack for a
Gorilla. It's probably intended for a car battery adapter. You could
use a battery pack if it's strong enough. The rechargeable kind they
sell in sporting goods stores for powering searchlights and camp
lanterns would work; these often are fitted with the same kind of jack
as a car cigarette lighter.
What's the power rating marked on the back? If the draw is much above
15 watts, you won't get much life out of regular alkaline batteries as
the current draw will be too high.

Thanks for (rambling?) responses. I tried plugging the thing in to the
Cigarette Lighter and .... IT WORKS!! Hey, maybe I WILL play a few
tunes while out for a Sunday drive.
Thanks,
Rich
