New mailing list to cover amp and instrument electronics.

Subject: NEW LIST: Tube amp and bass electronics

Announcing the creation of the Tube Amp and Music Electronics
mailing list. This list will be devoted to the discussion of
repair and modification of tube amps and electric guitar and
bass electronics and effects. This group is aimed at the
person who is actually doing the repairs or modifications,
or who is interested in the technical aspects of them.
Mailings will be in the form of a moderated "Digest" with the
frequency of mailing solely dependent upon receipt of material.
Content will be a combination of question/answer and lessons/
articles on various subjects.
Initially, I will be running this list from my own account.
Mailings will be received by me, Doug Wellington. When I have
received an appropriate amount of mail, or an appropriate time
period has passed, I will send out one large (hopefully) digest
that contains all postings to date. In addition, I will maintain
an archive of all postings for future reference.
If (when!) the volume of traffic gets high enough, we will
pursue setting up a "real" mailing list and/or a newsgroup.
