2656.0. "P S Systems - EB100S - Power Tool" by DABEAN::REAUME (perfectly<==>connected) Thu Jan 07 1993 14:50
P S Systems:
Not too long after introducing their Power Tool Speaker Emulation/
Power Attenuation product, this relatively new company has entered the
MIDI controlled amp market. It is similar in concept to the new
Marshall JMP-1, Mesa Boogie TriAxis, and H&K Access. But there is a new
twist! This unit includes a 100 watt tube power amp. It does take up quite
a few more rack spaces (looks like 6 to me), but then again there's a lot there.
The EB100S includes speaker simulation, MIDI control, and effects loops.
The display is in numeric LED's like the TriAxis and there are individual
increment/decrement buttons for each parameter. I've never seen any of this
company's gear out there, but I would be interested to compare this thing
to me Access. Even if I was impressed, I doubt I'd consider buying it.
