Help!
I recently had my garage broken into and had approx $5000.00 worth of
equipment stolen. My insurance company will replace the stolen property
to the best of their ability, or give me an 80% cash settlement (or
any combination of the two). Thank God for insurance.
This equipment was accumulated over the past 15 years or so. Some of it
was modified, some of it was hand made, and some of it was old.
Anyway, I've realized that several options are now available....
I need to know what equipment could replace it with today's technology
at a compareble price. They don't have to be like for like replacements
- just something equitable at about the same price.
Following is a list of the major items taken:
ITEM REPLACEMENT
1) Marshall 50W 2x12 combo guitar amp (don't recall model) $1000.00
2) Roland Cube 100 1x12 combo guitar amp $600.00
3) 2x12 celestion cabinet for Roland amp $350.00
4) 2 1x12 Ampeg floor monitors with horn $300.00
5) ADA MC1 midi foot controller $275.00
6) Custom stomp box board with:
Boss stereo chorus $150.00
Boss stereo delay $150.00
MXR flanger $75.00
Boss OD-1 overdrive $75.00
Boss distortion $75.00
Custom power supply $20.00
7) Sure SM57 mike & cord $150.00
8) AKG mike (forget model) & cord $300.00
Any advise on this would be greatly appreciated. I'm basically
interested in my options with the guitar amps and effects.
Thanks in advance,
Bruce S
P.S. I live in Canada so there is a price differential.
