Just got a guitar, can't play!!!!
Can anyone recommend a good book/video, (preferrably video) on how to
play. basically just something for beginners, maybe some theory
but mostly just how to play...
thanks,
John...

Homespun Tapes has a broad range of material, from beginner to
advanced, a wide variety of musical styles. A lot of their stuff is
on video. I have some of it and in general found it pretty good.
The vids go for approximately $40-60. I've got an address here
somewhere, but I think it's also elsewhere in this conference.
But my totally unsolicited advice would be to seek out a teacher. A
good one will start you off in the right direction.
