Hey Brian - why don't you start an "Ask Brian" topic and we
can just put all of our obscure questions in there? I am
constantly and totally amazed at how much you know about
every facet of music !!! Actually, I'm surprised you didn't
mention the catalog number of the album, which I'm sure you
also know without even checking !!
Maybe we could all try to stump you!

Thanks Brian, for the pointer to Arlen Roth. I'll be searching around
for his stuff...
Next time I have something obscure, I'll be sure to contact you.
Tom
P.S. Gino Vanelli, let's see, Canadian singer, "I Just Wanna Stop",
not to be confused with Dino Danelli, drummer with the Rascals.

I heard a rumor that Brian was actually a distant relative of Arlen
Roth.... there were some folks in the family with lisps and the name
kinda lost the correct pronunciation....8^)

| The only Tem Noon I know of was sorta the spiritual guide of the drummer
in my first DECjam band. It's been so long that I can't remember
his first name but his last name was Bernstein.
I believe he was the only drummer at a DECjam to ever play with face
paint.

Tom, I wasn't asking about Tem Noon but since *you* asked, don't you
remember he was in the Gino Carlton band with you!!?? Not to
mention that afternoon jam we went to up at rik sawyer's place in NH.
db has a good memory, Tem Noon was Ed Bernstein, an interesting guy to
say the least...wonder where he is now?

Brian, sure I remember. I was wondering if anyone else did. I'm
sure Dan D and Butch remember him. He never told us about the
face paint - it was pretty funny. I saw the video a few weeks ago
and he's very similar to the Joker in the recent Batman.
He sang "This time, will be the last time..." by INXS with the Ginos.
That was a great jam. Fred and Willy with Rik Sawyer kicked at
that one!! "I got a little change in my pocket..."

Actually I have a terrible memory. But you tend to remember it
when someone starts talking about their spiritual force and stuff
like that.

cathcing up on the notes, but guess what one of the covers my band is
doing live?
Yup, a freakin' instrumental version of WAMLAW.
ARRRRGGGHHHH!!!!!
