To anyone knows about Demarzio HS-2 pick-up.
I want to put one in the bridge of my Am.STD Fender Strat.
The saleman said this pick-up is a single pick-up build as a humbucka to
fit in a strat. How was the sound? I would like to get a crunchy sound.
Is HS-2 a good pick-up?
Any other type of pick-up have crunchy sounds?

Try a Seymour Duncan Hot Rail in the bridge pickup,a HS2 is not the
far off from a generic strat pickup like in an American standard.

I second what Rick said about the HS-2, but I wouldn't go for an FLS
again. I had both on my Strat. I was let down by the FLS only because
it didn't scream as I expected. The way they advertise it you'd think
you didn't even need one of these hi gain preamps. Now it is a good
enough pickup, dont get me wrong. Just in my opinion, its a bit
costly.
For the bridge position, I'd either do the Hot Rails, or the
DiMarzio HS-3. The HS-2 offers a warmer tone than the stock. The HS3
offers tone and I think a bigger output signal (more to crunch with).
