Well, it's here...you tired of reading about these shredmeisters in the
music comix, and wondering if they can really deliver the goods? Well,
Mike Varney, the P.T. Barnum of heavy metal now has a new venture,
"GUITAR on the Edge", a quarterly magazine in CD format. The first
ish, Feb. 92 is out in the stores now at $5.98. The display said
"$14.98 value", well if you pay 15 clams for cardboard slip-case CDs,
well...
"Over one hour of the world's scariest guitarists" it sez here, and you
get Blues Saraceno, Allan Holdsworth, Frank Gambale, Jeff Watson, Mark
Wood (hey, he plays violin!), Brett Garsed, Rusty Anderson, Todd Duane,
Shawn Lane, Morey Amsterdam, Charlie Weaver, Junior Samples and Bill
Dana....
Wait, there's more...you can subscribe for $19.92 and have four issues
a year mailed to your home or to you worst enemy's home (your choice).

| Look out, now there is "Hot Guitarist" magazine which is a VHS video for
$14.95, first issue has Nuno Bettencourt, Yngwie and some other folks.
