    I ran across this in the Music notesfile and felt it was a good
    thing, so I figured I'd post it here. Evidently, the reponse thus
    far has been minimal, and that is too bad because it's a gateway
    to sharing the music you've written or to be informed of new music
    being produced that you might not otherwise have access to.

    This note is to announce the "DEC CD-Buyer's Mailing List". The list is
    comprised of people who want to receive **** US Mail **** (NOT E-mail)
    about various recordings that are being offered by DEC-based musicians.
    
    Any DEC (or non-DEC) musician can use the mailing list and you don't
    have to be an employee to be on the list either.
    
    If you're interested in hearing the music of fellow DEC employees, send
    your full name, HOME address and music preferences (stick to categories
    of music, don't list every band you like and don't like) to:

    For anyone who doesn't have access to mail, you can also send your mailing

    This mailing list is *NOT* a business venture. It is an entirely
