Yet another entry into the floor multi-FX pedal sweepstakes from Ibanez, the "Power Trio", actually two pedals PT-3 for guitar and PT-3B for bass. Three effects per box (hmm, sounds like the old UE-300s!!), my guess is these are priced to sell way under the Boss and Korg units...maybe under $200? They look like they are similar in function to the Boss BE-5 units, that is non-programmable, an on/off for each effect plus a master bypass. PT-3 has distortion/overdrive, digital delay and chorus. PT-3B has compression, graphic EQ and chorus. Brian

Does anyone have any experience with or information on the Ibanez PUE5(B) multieffect pedal unit? It's a 5 pedal unit, with versions for the guitar and bass. The bass unit has chorus, delay, compression, EQ, and something else I can't remember. The guitar unit has a distortion voice, too. American Musical Supply has them for $265 as of a couple of months ago. I'd like to hear a review of this unit, if anyone's tried it. Also, if anyone knows of an Ibanez effects dealer in the Colo Spgs area please let me know. Thanks in advance, -- Sam |
