I am looking for a Lenny Pogan Blu-Slide. Yes, the name is correct. It is a ring which has a half-slide attached to it. When you play slide you use the slide side and when you switch to regular style you flip it around. The half-slide is cut length-wise, of course.

I have/had one, but the slide 'plate' is plastic, and possibly because of this, has come off the ring part. I haven't tried to put it back together, in fact, I may have thrown it away years ago. I'll update you if I find it, but if I fix it, I'll probably keep it. Cal C. Customer Service HPO, Burlington, Ont.

Wow, I wondered what that was that Chris Whitely was wearing on the photos on his "Livin' with the Law" album - You've described his slide perfectly, only it looks like it is all metal. I have next no hope of finding one here in Oz though. If there is a mail order outlet which stocks them, please post it here. Thanks, Jeff.
2430.3 | Mine was metal | KAOFS::P_DESOUZA | Thu Feb 13 1992 11:27 | 6
Mine was all metal...and it may still be lurking in some forgotten corner of my basement. My basement is somewhat like the fridge in the TV series "Dinosaurs"..... Let me know if you find a source for these. |
