Need some help with SRV "Life by the Drop" as released on "The Sky is Crying" CD. Sounds like the chorus is A/E/B?/D with a nifty bass run. I can't quite get the bass line and the verse. He does it on a 12-string and I believe it was the recording from MTV unplugged. Help anyone? Thanks. Ed

re .-1 try A/E/F#m/D, that's the way I hear the main part of the song.

Yup, sounds like winner to me too. I don't think this version is from the MTV Unplugged thing. I could be wrong though. Seems like if it had been from MTV, there would have been some crowd noise in the background, because those folks were goin' nutz over Stevie ! Scary

No, it's studio, not MTV. By the way, does anybody have that on video? I'd love to tape it. David DTN 223-9622
