| Richard,
Here are directions to Daddy's Junk Music from Route 3:
- Rt 3 North to exit 1 in New Hampshire (this is the exit after
exit 36 in Mass)
- R at lights
- Straight thru 2 lights (pass Purity Supreme supermarket at L)
- R at next lights onto Daniel Webster Highway
- Stay in R lane
- First R into a strip mall (Daddy's is on the extreme R)
Ask for Tim, Dan or Matt - tell them Ravi sent you and you probably
won't be quoted an absurd price. But as -.1 said, you should always
bargain. Btw, their telephone # is 603/888-1160.

| Try Hampshire Music, get off Rt 3 at Exit 7W, it's on the left but
you have to go past it and turn around in a jug handle (take the
2nd jug handle for best results). It's a funny colored building
(looks sort of Mosiac on the outside).
They are having a going out of business sale, 1/2 off plus $10
for all guitars.

2344.6 | Rathole on Hampshire Music | TUNER::SCHIRALDI | | Fri Oct 11 1991 16:40 | 14 |
| yeah, the owner told me they have over $1 million in junk to
get rid of....all kinds of stuff. They are going out of
business because the Nashua and Milford school systems started
selling gear to students directly (of course for much more $$$)
and told local kids if they buy their gear thru the schools,
they get free lessons. Kind of a rotten deal. I liked that
place. It's pretty junky looking when you go in, but the
guy who runs it knows his stuff and they do have good prices
and tons of sheet music.
A place like that is hard to replace...

(going down a rathole, sorry)

Unless you know what the list prices for things really are,
Hampshire Music is a risky place. Inspect all merchandise
carefully because when asked he'll be glad to tell you he's
dealing factory seconds. His liquidation sale sign is a
tantrum he's throwing because he's loosing the monopoly
he used to have in the Nashua Milford band instrument market.
More than once I've stood by the door as the truck unloaded
a dozen more guitars to liguidate....
He's the best place in the world for sifting thru buckets of
old electric guitar parts or seriously ugly no-name guitars.

Many thanks. I made it to Hampshire Music and also a good place in
Tewksbury (plus Darrells in Nashua but they don't do geetars.)
Seems to me that stuff retailing at 500 pounds or less is cheaper or as
cheap here in the UK (such as mikes, effects, Jap Strats, sheet music etc).
Stuff over 500 pounds can be got cheaper by far in the US (Les Pauls,
US Strats, etc).
