2278.0. "Ever heard of Multivox amps?" by ESKIMO::AUSTIN () Tue Aug 06 1991 08:53

    I'm trying to see if anyone out there has ever heard of Multivox
    amps? My neighbor is going to sell me his for next to nothing if
    I like it after trying it out for a while, although it's a bass amp.
    He has no use for it anymore and it's just taking up alot of space in his
    apartment.

    I looked at the serial plate on the back and it says "Multivox Corp.
    of America", Made in Hauppauge, N.Y. The model name that is also
    on the back is "Premier D88". It has a 12" speaker in it along with
    a horn speaker mounted above that. There's a bass, treble, and volume
    control on the back also, and input and line out jacks.

    Thanks for any info/opinions on these amps,

    Multivox corp. is the company that used to make Premier amps (uh-oh,
    dating myself...good blues amps), then it gets fuzzy...

    B-level stuff.
