| I found a Maurader at a flea market this weekend.Guy was asking $375
Can. It's in good shape,creamy yellow with some sparkles in the paint.
Finish is cracked a little,but not exteme.
Can anyone give me some info on this thing? Weird pick-ups. What's it
worth? How rare? Btw, he says it's a '69. The serial no. on the back of
the headstock starts witha 6 as well.

| The Maurader was a mid-70's kinda thang; the 6 in the serial number
does not indicate a 60's date. I think the pickups on these were
designed by Bill Lawrence. Other than that, don't know much about em.
Always wondered what they were like. How does it play?

| Gibson started coding date info into the digits of serial #'s in 1977;
prior to that, there is no correlation.
