Does anyone know the make/model of the guitar on the inside cover of the Stanley Jordan CD entitled "Cornucopia"? I don't know how to play yet, and doubt that one is within my budget as a first guitar but GAWD it is gorgeous. I saw him in a small club here in Tempe, AZ and am pretty sure it was one of the three he used that night, that one being bolted on a stand. I guess even he didn't want to risk scratching it! 8^) Keith

I saw a picture of him recently holding a guitar with a wonderful quilted maple top... was it that one? (Haven't seen the CD cover) *DC

re .1 Thanks for the detective work. Now maybe I can find someone who carries them in the Phoenix area and drool. 8^) re .2 Is that what you call that grain of wood? It is quite spectacular and almost makes the best tiger maple look like pale in comparison. That's probably the same one you saw...I suppose these things cost a couple grand huh? Keith

I've been in most of the guitar shops in the Valley and I've never seen them. Mike |
