2118.0. "demo problem---mailing list.....help!" by SWAPIT::LOR () Wed Feb 20 1991 13:36
Hello all of you avid musicolgosits, headbangers, guitar junkies,
etc...
I have a problem....
I am currently playing in a psuedo-90's garage-punk-psychedelic
band [heavy reverb, echo, fuzztone etc..] and we finally have
put together a demo together that we
would love to shop around to alternative
radio shows/college radio stations, independent record companies,
alternative magazines.....etc...
the problem is I need help in creating such a list and would greatly
appreciate any info that can be used to send this demo around.
if you could include the name of the company/magazine/radio station,
mailing address & zip code/phone number/and maybe a person I can
address the mail to.....any help would be appreciated.
sincere thanks,
Rick...

| In the back of "Rolling Stone" Magazine there is an address. If you
send them 25$ they will send you a GUARANTEED list of college radio
stations that record company scouts listen to, as well as radio
and record label contacts ect...ect... There are supposedly over 500
different contacts. If you'd like I could post the address here tomorrow.
