Has anybody had any experience with the Seymour Duncan Research 84-40 tube amps? I tried one out the other day (the 2x10 model) and was pretty impressed. Jim

This is a amp designed to run like a Vox AC-30. Not a bad unit, made overseas, but solid. I feel it lacks the brightness of the Ac30, but others feel they like it better that way. IF you are going to buy one, talk the salesperson down, as they are "bought cheap" by the dealers, for high markup. Ya gotta luv it... Jay |
