Just wondering if anybody plays the pedel steel out there?
I've had a Hawian lap steel for about two years now and enjoyed
playing it (well trying to play it) as best as I could. Then I
recently picked up a pedel steel,so I just started learning how
to play. Also wondering if anybody else played,or if anybody could
offer any helpfull hints.

Just decieded to let you guys out there know of a place where
I'v had good luck with as far as picking up books and tapes
and just about everything.The place is in TENN. somewhere can't
remember just now cause it's at home.but anyway the name is
STEEL GUITAR WORLD all I have is there phone # 615-859-1011.
ps. also wondering if anyone out there knows
of anyone out there who is doing any teaching
in New England
pss. another place I just thought of as I was writting
is where I picked up my steel not even a month ago. The
place is called LARRY COX'S MUSIC STORE. I will bring
in the number tommorow if anybody is interested, from
what I understand he is an old steel player.when I walked
in his store he had 6 steels on the floor plus the one I
walked out with,witch as you all know is rare for around here.
Oh well I guess if anybody can help /needs help e/mail or I
will check out old 237.tommorow.

Well Dan, It's nice to see another steel man coming in to the fold.
You might want to try Steel Bar Music in Newmarket NH. for steel
accessories. BTW I bought my Emmons from Bremen Music in Savage
Mn. These people sell mail order and are reliable.
