1960.0. "Pearce Amplification" by AQUA::ROST (Mahavishnu versus Motormouth) Tue Sep 11 1990 15:36
Pearce Amplifiers, who make solid state guitar and bass units, have
decided to go the direct mail route, like Carvin. Check out the new
guitar rags for their ads. They sell both preamps and integrated
units, including a 300W X 2 bass biamp rig. Users include Ronnie
Montrose and Billy Sheehan.
Of possible interest: Their cabs are built for them by Eden
Electronics, who also build the SWR Goliath bass cabs. Guitar cabs can
be had with Celestions and EVs, bass cabs with Eden drivers or EVs.

1960.1 | FWIW | UPWARD::HEISER | rock solid! - a rockumentary | Tue Sep 11 1990 15:44 | 4 |
| Phil Keaggy uses a G1 preamp in his rack. This is his main preamp
(solid state) even though he bought a KH Quattro last year.

1960.2 | G1 Vs Kitty Hawk | SYOMV::BELL | | Tue Sep 25 1990 19:36 | 5 |
| I am interested in the G1, if anyone has one how about explaining
what you like about it. I've heard BooM's Kitty Hawk equipment, so
I'd also be interested in a comparison between the two.
