    Hello all you guitar-knowledgeable people out there,
    
    I have a black and beautiful Yamaha SG1500 + hard case which I am
    considering selling (times are hard) but I really don't have a good
    idea what a fair price to ask might be. For all intents and purposes
    (so I have been told) it is much the same as an SG2000 except it does
    not have the pearl trim or the gold-chrome fittings. Mine has ordinary
    chrome and the trim is ivory coloured.
    
    It has provided me much joy and is very nice to play and if I sell it
    I KNOW I will miss it greatly. Still, like I said before, times are
    hard.
    
    Can anyone tell me a fair price to ask for such a beast ??? Preferably
    un pounds sterling, though any pointers are welcome
    
    Any offers  (sob !... snif.... <:-(      )
    
    I need to know it is going to a good home where it will be loved and
    cared for
