| You might want to post something on USENET. I don't think there are
any DECcie in here from the 'Great American Northwet'.
Give "Musician's Friend" a call too, they're in Oregon.

A new copy of DXRN and MXRN are available.
It's basically XRN 6.8 with several bugfixes.
For the unknowing, DXRN is an XUI port of XRN, MXRN is a Motif port.
UFP::SYS$KITS:[XRN]XRN.TARZ for Ultrix,
UFP::SYS$KITS:[XRN]DXRN.EXE or MXRN.EXE for VMS.
VMS folks probably also want DXRN.DOC (newly updated) and DXRN.COM.

For VNEWS users the latest version is V2.3 abnd is available from
CLOVAX::DISK$USER1:[COBURN.VNEWS_DIST]
Copy the file GET-VNEWS.COM and execute it on your system and it will copy the
distribution to you.
This version can handle groupnames that are longer than 32 characters. Some of
the new clari. groups (at least 1) has a name that is longer. The problem shows
up as being prompted everytime you run VNEWS to see if you want to subscribe to
this group. Then a truncated version of the name gets written to the newsrc
file and the next time VNEWS is run it happens again.
After upgrading you may wish to edit the newsrc file and remove redundant
groupnames.

Butch Bazillion is/was in Seattle recently, but I don't know
where he is now.
Vocals/guitar/bass/keys - quite flexible.

| Yep, Butchy is out there...At least I *think* he's still out there.
Great vocal range. Good acoustic player and good keys too. Last
I knew, he was working on putting together a recording studio.

I play bass, 20 yrs, exp., and work in the Seattle ACT. There's
a (free) Seattle publication called 'the Rocket' that comes out
once a month, and carries several pages of musicians' classified
in the back. Occasionally some people from P-town advertise in there.
Good stuff....
