In the Jan./82 Guitar Player issue, Craig Anderton had a "Chorus/Delay" project based on the Reticon SAD4096 chip. PGS Electronics was listed as carrying the components and circuit boards, they have since moved. Would anybody have an address/phone number for PGS if they are still in business, or another source for the SAD4096? I was pointed to ELECTRO_HOBBY from COMMUSIC, just thought I'd try here seeing as it was a GP article. Thanks, Denis.

Don't get your hopes up. The Reticon SAD1024 and SAD4096 chips that were used in a lot of early analog delay/chorus/flange circuits are hard to come by. I'm pretty sure the 1024 is gone for good (Radio Shack *used* to sell them) and probably the 4096 as well. The article gave a components list and circuit board drawings, so you could always etch your own board. Contact for Reticon: EG&G Reticon, 345 Potrero Ave., Sunnyvale, CA 94086-4197.
