    outfit _Loudness_.

Yeah, are you talking about Akira Takasaki?? He has 4 US releases with
the band Loudness, but also a few Japanese loudness lps exist that have
not made it to our country yet. Also, Akira has a couple of solo
albums out which are very different than the stuff he does with
Loudness. One of then is called Tusk of Jaguar.

How do you do. I'm in FS HACHIOUJI/JAPAN. I know about Akira Takasaki

Long time ago, there was band in JAPAN that was called LAZY.

LAZY was japanese idol(idle?) music band. A.Takasaki joined them and

played guitar. Akira's material was EXPLORE and FLYING V.

(This is name of guitar ,you know.)

About 10 years ago, A.Takasaki broke out LAZY with drummer (I forget

his name) and they organized LOUDNESS as HM band. I think maybe they

released 2 LPs only in JAPAN and after both JAPAN and US.

Now A.Takasaki use RANDAMSTAR by ESP. They are most famous HM band

	in JAPAN.

BTW, How much faomous LOUDNESS or A.Takasaki in US ?

	P.S.
Do you understand my english ? If it is bad, please correct sentense
	or word.

You're doing fine ! I like Loudness from the first time I saw the
video to "Rock And Roll Crazy Nights" on MTV. "Thunder In The East"
was their best work, IMO (in my opinion ...), "Lightning Strikes"
and "Hurricane Eyes" just weren't as heavy or raw. Takasaki is
a great player, but most of his licks seem like they have been ripped
off from someone else like VanHalen, Rhodes, Malmsteen, etc. I
never heard "Tusk Of The Jaguar", his solo LP, maybe he explored
    some new territory there.

Yeah, your doing a lot better at english than I could *ever* do
noting in Japanese ! Keep up the noting.

I like Loudness more and more; each time I listen, I become more
and more amazed at some of the riffs Takasaki shreds. Seems as
though they may be losing popularity in the southern US though.

I found both their CD's in the "bargain bin" for $2.00.
