Can't tell ya what kind of amp he used. I do know that it was once
an American made amp but the company was bought out by the Japanese.
Sound familiar?!?

| Was that Lee Atwater or Chet Atkins? ;^)
I dunno, vintage strat? I kind of pictured him a little more glam,
y'know, Dayglo Lipstick Pink Hamer, with green trim, Kahler locking
whammy system, holding up his hands in the Universal Symbol of Rock
'n'Roll, pinky and index finger extended, screaming, "Ooh, Baby,
take every bit o' my Trickle Down Love!"
"Rock is dead, they say. . ."

| The latest rumor from high Whitehouse sources is that Bush will
propose a tariff on all solos imported from Scandinavian countries
in an effort to reduce our riff deficit.

| re; -2
No, he just tried to hold it right, it wasn't plugged in. However
there was some congressman or senetor who was really coming on strong.
At least that's how it was reported on the news here in the UK.

1094.9 | Funky Lee | FGVAXZ::MASHIA | We're all playing in the same band | Tue Jan 31 1989 13:46 | 5 |
| Actually, Lee Atwater, (Bush's campaign manager, now head of the
Republican Nat'l Committee), was at one time a rhythm guitarist
in (I think) Percy Sledge's touring band.

| Hmmm.. I can soon envision George (Bush) forgoing all of his
presidential responsibilities as he becomes more and more focused
on his: guitar!

| I was catching up on David Letterman shows I'd videotaped; who do I
see sitting in with the "worlds most dangerous band" one night but
none other than Lee Atwater! But check this out, he was playing an
ESP Strat!! C'mon Lee, buy 'merican.

Was he really playing? Be serious! The only kind of guitar a
