	It's probably in here somewhere, but I couldn't find it.

	Does anybody have the address (or phone #) for Gibson's parts
	department. I need 3 pickup mounting rings for my Les Paul.
	All the after-market rings I've seen have flat bases and I'm
	not about to file them to fit the Les's arch top by hand.

    Gibson's # is 615-366-2400, but
    
    they generally will not deal directly with customers anymore.
    
    Any music store that carries Gibson should be able to get
    these. Stuart-MacDonald and other mail order places generally have
    properly fitted ones, too.

    As a matter of fact, I'm replacing the rings on my Hagstrom Swede
    (same contour as a LP) with Stuart MacDonald rings.  They are, indeed
    flat-based, but they tighten down to the bend with no problem at
    all.  Incidentally, I ordered the parts last friday afternoon, and
    they arrived this past Wednesday - Great service!  I've been trying
    to get a catalog out of Warmoth Since August.  First they lost my
    check - I sent them another in November & still nothing.  Wouldn't
    deal with THEM under any circumstances!

	I bought the Shaller mounting rings from Stewart-MacDonalds
	also, mainly for the mounting screws. I've got 3 pickups on
	my Les Paul and nowhere have I seen middle pickup mounting rings.
	I'll try your suggestion, but since the arch slopes downward
	from the neck to the bridge, a flat base will cause the pickup to
	be tilted.

	I too have gotten great service from Stewart-MacDonalds. Warmouth
	took it's time sending a catalog, but I did get it. German Village
	Music, the ones that advertise that $19.95 Build Your Own Electric
	Guitar book in the magazines, still hasn't got me a readable catalog
	in over 5 months! I sent my $2 and waited almost 3 months before I
	got the catalog. Is wasn't complete though; the same pages were
	repeated throughout the catalog. I called and they said they'd send
	one right out. That was 2 months ago.
