Electro Voice (EV) makes the Force series of speakers. They're
nice...clean with a midrange punch to them.

Force is EV's budget line...their other lines being EVM-II and
EVM-Proline.

| Thank you, I thought it was one of the major manufacturers, but
couldn't remember which one.

How do the EV's Force speakers compare to their Series II ???
is their much difference in sound between the two ???
I need to do a speaker replacement and will be looking for
4-10's...I really love the sound of JBL's...and if money
were not an issue I'd definately go the $600 for them....
...but being the way things are I may have to seek a more
affordable solution....
...how do the Force speakers stand up against the E-series JBL's ??

| The Force speakers have smaller magnets and are rated for lower power
(150 watts vs. 200 watts) than the Series II.

| I used to have some PA bass bins with EV Force series 15's in them and
I thought they sounded great! I imagine that the top line EV speakers
might sound a little better and/or be more reliable over time, but
these took a lot of abused and kept going strong! They're still
working great for a friend that has them now!
