| I have a sneaking suspicion that what you have seen is the 360 systems
MIDIbass unit (not sure if that's the correct name, but it's close).
This is a sound generating unit which contains real bass sounds and is
played from a keyboard or other MIDI controller (e.g. a MIDI guitar).
If I'm right (which has been known to happen every now and then :-) ),
then this is not an effects unit at all.
By the way, I know that Boss do/did some bass-specific stomp boxes, and
here in the U.K. a company called Nomad does a rackmount bass multi-effects
box called the Bassman. I don't have details to hand, but I can get them if
you're interested.

Sorry for the delay in replying - I've been working out of the office -
does this make it a Digital delay ? :-) :-)
Anyway, the Boss stomp boxes I mentioned are:
GE7-B Bass equaliser - 7 band eq (62Hz, 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1KHz,
2 KHz, 4KHz), -15 Db/+15Db cut/boost
CE2-B Bass chorus - 'A chorus unit designed exclusively for use
with a bass guitar' - I don't know what the
difference is between this and an ordinary chorus !
BF2-B Bass flanger - Same concept as the chorus !
The Nomad Bassman is a rack-mount multi-effects box containing a
compressor, variable gate, chorus, flanger, phaser and active cross-over.
I'm afraid that's all I have on it (I haven't read any reviews), but you
can find out more from:
Nomad Ltd,
North Road Farm, [Do they breed these things ? :-)]
North Road,
Wendy,
Near Royston,
Herts,
England.

Telephone - 0223 207770
Hope this helps,
Derek.

Oh by the way, the prices (full list) are as follows:
Bass eq - 87 pounds
Bass chorus - 69 pounds
Bass flanger - 74 pounds
I don't have a price for the Bassman, but I believe that it is
in the 300 - 350 pounds range.
Cheers,
Derek.
