Has anyone else noticed that several of the songs on OU812 are recorded with Eddie's stereo Kramer? I've noticed it already because it's screwing me up. My major problem is I have a trash tape player that I'm trying to learn "Black and Blue" off of. What's a good way to attack a note that sounds like it might be a two-part chord? This keeps coming up. So many single notes sound like other notes are being played with them when I know they're not. Bruce McCormack

I figured out the licks I wanted last night in this song, but I still hate trying to deal with stereo guitar. Bruce McCormack | |||||

Black and Blue is one of THOSE...where you move your fingers all over the place looking for that one damn chord voicing. It's a good exercise in ear training. What specific parts are/were you having trouble with (I guess we'll have to reference this stuff to the lyrics)? |
