Hi, this may not be the right note but I can't get to MUSIC at the moment. Can any of you New Englanders tell me anything about a Boston band called BALL AND PIVOT and in particular about a guy called Bee Wilkinson (sp?). The reason I ask is that I have his sister Beverley staying with me in England for a few days on a tour with a choir and I thought it would be fun if anyone over there new about the outfit. Bee used to be in The Atlantics. Regards RB in the UK

Ball and Pivot had a local hit in a tune called something like "2 o'clock jump". As I remember, the Atlantics had an EP out and had a local hit with a tune called something like "Lonely Hearts". The Atlantics were around for a long time and IMO were a good band to see live. I think they were described as a "Power Pop" band. Kevin PS. This really isn't the place for this discussion, but I can't get into MUSIC either. |
