| Billy Lee has a hand-made SG copy with beautiful inlay work
for $450 including case.
Right around the corner, Kurlan's has 2real nice guitars -
a Robin Artisan (looks sort of like an SG - a beautiful axe)
and a gray Standard Strat which I thought was great. If I
was in a buying mindset, I'd pick up one of these.

| I haven't been in Mr. C's music lately, but the last time I was
he had an ES335 with a quilted maple body and dot neck. I have
seen hundreds of ES335/345/355's, but this one was the nicest in
my opinion. I would consider trading my 345 for it, but the trade
would cost me around $500 or more. For someone looking to buy a
really distinctive guitar, that doesn't mind laying out $1000.oo
or more, I would check this one out.
There are also a lot of nice guitars I would like to rescue from
McDuff's music. That place is a fairly good music store, but it's
always such a mess in there.

Don't know what your all getting for prices but I talked to
Paul down at Flipside Records in Maynard Ma, He'll give anyone with
a Dec badge this discount
10% over cost ( plus shipping) on all pro audio equip with a
50% deposit..
Also guitar strings for $4.00 a pack.
( I'm sure he didn't mean bass string) but am sure he will beat
the price of other stores on them...
I'm sure someone out there hates the place as all other music stores
get ragged on, but not a bad deal on the strings compared to most
music stores, as a matter of fact I was in the CHelmsford Music
store in the mall a while back and they get $10.00 for the same
strings... what a rip off...
