| There's also a company "Warmoth Guitar Products" out of Washington
that makes a variety of replacement necks. I have their catalog,
and have talked to them about their products. They make the Compound
Radius neck which I've never seen, but sounds excellent.
If you'd like any info, let me know.

| You might wanna do some research on Warmouth...A friend bought a
neck there and brought it to a tech to put it on and the guy refused
telling him to save his money and get a new neck, that the thing
was a piece of crap. Something about the wood and the way the grain
went when they cut it (??).
Dimarzio makes a full line of replacement parts including necks,
have heard good things about them.

My guitar repairman had a few comments about
Boogie Bodies and Warmouth necks that I thought
I'd pass along.
He said that the frets are pressed in, not
pounded in. Consequently, they don't sit flush
to the fretboard. Also they don't use any glue
so after a while, the frets have a tendency to
come loose. He didn't give me any opinion about
whether they were good or bad, he just said that
if I bought one he would glue and level the frets
for me.
One more thing, the necks should be painted to keep
moisture from being absorbed into it which can cause it
to swell.
I have a Boogie Bodies strat that I made about
seven years ago and which has given me no problems.
In fact, it's really quite a nice guitar.
Living in the Seattle area, though, I was able to
go to the factory (a guy's house!) in Puyallup
and select a neck that I liked.
Charvel also makes replacement necks, but I don't
know if they come in a V style.

I saw one in Rice Music for around $200. It was claimed to be the
replica or re-issue of 59 I think. You can get one from Stew/Mac
for only around $90. I was/am extremely happy with Stew/Mac stuff.
