Over the years my Les Paul has developed a number of scratch marks in the lacquer from some over exuberant picking. Does anyone have an EASY home remedy for removing these scratches? Dan

236.1 | If it's not too deep, rub it out | RHETT::MCABEE | Diddly diddly | Wed May 13 1987 17:26 | 6 |
There are rubbing compounds for that purpose, but if you rub part of it, you'll probably want to rub it all to make it uniform. Gurian makes some cleaning and polishing compounds for guitars. Bob | |||||

Try calling Martin's Woodworker's Dream ... their people there (Dick Boak and I forget the other fellow's name) are excellent contacts for such advice. Don't have the number handy but dircetory assistance will getcha there ... Nazareth, PA is all I know right now. AA |
