Is is possible with the current of OPS to support up to 8 nodes in a cluster? I have seen testing with 4 but no more. I have heard Digital is in audit of an 8 node AlphaServer 8400 TPC-C test, but are using Oracle 8. I Oracle 8 a requirement to go to 8 nodes or can we do that today with Oracle 7? Thanks... lisa

re .0 Well, I may not have run into it yet but I can't think of a limitation to 4 nodes in Oracle OPS itself. But when you have a look at the "TruCluster Production Server Software SPD 63.92.04 Version 1.4A" you will find in the "SUPPORTED HARDWARE" section: TruCluster Production Server Software supports the following systems up to 4 systems in a configuration. Looks like you have to wait for the next releases of Production Server. Martin |
