1543.0. "Relink After Installing ALPLIBR05_070 or VAXLIBR06_070" by KYOSS1::POLAKOWSKI (One of Us is Over 40) Mon Apr 14 1997 11:23

I got this question from a customer this morning. I told
him to call Oracle, but I figured I'd ask here too.

Does any one know if Oracle needs to be relinked after
	installing ALPLIBR05_070 or VAXLIBR06_070?

This patch adresses the 10K day delta time problem.

	Thanx in advance,

	Ken

Our recommendation is to apply the patch and re-link, there are some
easier routes for O7.1 and greater customers, but we choose the conservative
path. I personally reviewed our support bulletin, and approved it.

Since we use the RTL .OLB files when linking our Kernel - I see no other way
to ensure we don't have any issues than to re-link.

We realize the inconvience of this - believe me!! I'm in Melborne today (AUS)
and won't be checking mail again till the 3rd of May. Further questions can be
