Hi,

DEC osi dsa 1.2-16 UFT on OpenVMS VAX 6.2

I have a question about uft and the length of the username. Is this limited
to 12 characters ?

ie:

UFT >connect uft/user_name=gcomrw1$budget

A X25 trace shows only username gcomrw1$budg being transferred.

Is this a feature or limitation ?

    Hi,
    
    	In GCOS and DSA environment the password, username project-name and
    	and billing name are limited to 12 characters. In the uft dcl
    	command the passwordis automaticaly cut to 12 characters.
