hi i work at the colorado support center and have call from
local field service engr trying to get hold of part for the
on/off switch mechanism on dec2000-300 jensen box
there is black piece of plastic that attaches to on/off switch
on the power supply itself. field service has ordered qty=2
new power supplies 30-37197-02 and the piece does not come with
the power supplies? he has also ordered the rocker switch/actuator
rod 12-38185-01 and that does not come with it either?
is there a part number for this piece? does someone have one to
supply to field service for a cusotmer call?

Jim, Harry Williams has found some old scrap Jensens in the Lab and is packing 3 of your missing parts, along with 2 actuator rods and 2 switches. These Jensens are going to be scapped so mail IRNBRU::WILLIAMS if there's any specific parts you may want on them! guess we do have some of these older systems around digital but
sounds like they are fast approaching scrape heap.
its great to see with all the roadblocks we have up and this
system being EOL years ago that we can still band together and
do whats best for customers.
there does not seem to be a orderable part number for this piece

Jim, Have a look along the side of some of the power supplies in the Jensen. Occasionally, there is one of these little black plastic things taped to the side of the power supply as a spare. Not all power supplies had them but the newer ones sometimes did. Harry | |||||
