A customer is trying to put a 2740W adapter on an AXP 150. Disk Administrator sees the drives but when trying to create a partition or access them he gets an I/O error. He is running Windows NT 3.51 and has the latest firmware and ECU. I know the 2740W is not supported, but I wonder if anyone has tried this configuration and got it to work. Any info appreciated.

I think a 2740 (not W) did work once. We had one in the lab for a while - it wouldn't boot but did work for data only. Best to check whether it is in the HCL or not. http://www.microsoft.com/isapi/hwtest/hsearchn4.idc Gordon |
